Supporting dedicated sea turtle conservation efforts worldwide
These are the projects for which we are currently raising funds:
Hawaii, USA — Protecting critically endangered hawksbill turtles through dedicated volunteer monitoring on the Big Island.
Costa Rica — Supporting conservation at one of the world's most important leatherback nesting sites.
Sierra Leone — Working to protect sea turtles and their habitats along the West African coast.
St. Eustatius, Netherland Antilles — Protecting four endangered sea turtle species nesting on Zeelandia Beach through patrols, nest monitoring, tagging, and community education.
Orissa, India — Protecting one of the largest olive ridley mass nesting sites in the Indian Ocean by mobilizing local fishing communities for conservation and education.
Sulawesi, Indonesia — Establishing baseline research, tagging, and community training to protect marine turtles in the Gulf of Tomini and Togean Archipelago.
Global — A program for turtle lovers everywhere to demonstrate their concern and commitment about sea turtles around the globe.
